Sephora & Hello Kitty Graffiti Collection

As some of you may already know, I am a woman in her mid-twenties who still can’t get enough of Hello Kitty.  Combine Sephora make up and hello kitty and you get one ravenous consumer.  Sephora and Hello Kitty launched another amazing collection together this summer and it’s already making all the kawaii girls glow with delight.  Since I was unable to attend the launch for Sephora’s Hello Kitty Graffiti Collection, I scooped all the inside details from an amazing accessory designer from California named I am Chubby Bunny.  I AM CHUBBY BUNNY has all the insider tips into the colorful lolita scene down in California.

Bright hues for your tips : Summer hair trend 2011

July 16, 2011
By

Being no stranger to bright hues in my locks, with my first blue hair color job at the age of 14 ; this summer trend isn’t nearly as shocking as it is welcomed and appreciated.  When a celebrity like Lauren Conrad adds purples and blues to her infamous blonde mane, it instantly makes things acceptable to a far broader range of styles.  Even conservative girls can pull off small amounts of their favorite color, the key is to use a semi-permanent color product versus a permanent choice that would have to be removed or cut off once you outgrow the trend.  My advice is to visit a professional colorist in your area for a consultation to see if this is a viable option for your natural color and wallet.

Handmade striped clutch by Orea Duffy

This was my first purchase ever on etsy.com , I was ordering a zippered pouch for my sister as a birthday gift and saw this clutch…. sold instantly.  I’ve had it for years and the amazing part is how well it has stood the test of time, sometimes with handmade items it’s concerning to consider how much use it can get compared to factory made.  Orea Duffy’s pouch featuring her infamous hand drawn, silk screened and created octopus named “macro” was made with attention to detail and quality.  Check out her other items that keep you cheerful and organized.  Thank you to etsy for spurring my love of all things handmade and unique!

I can only imagine how J.K. Rowling must feel right now; to have inspired so many, brought about a change in how we view reading and all around creating the best make believe world I could ever day dream about.
