A new pattern each month to make life more interesting to behold
I enjoy skullery year round, it is not confined to the month of October for me. But seeing as Halloween and Dia De Los Muertos is just around the corner, I think it’s time that we start our devotion to the eery celebrations. Specifically those fantastic sugar skull inspirations I see everywhere that make me want to go South of the border. Time to get spooky… specifically if spooky means adorable, artistic and colorful that is.
Hippocampus the scientific name for seahorse is derived from the Greek hippos, “horse”, and campus, “sea monster.” But how on earth could you confuse these cute little ocean ponies for monsters?? Make some wiggle room for these pint size creatures in your day for a sure fire cause of smiles and joy.
Although I can honestly say I have never had the chance to ride in a hot air balloon or see one up close in person, it is an easy fascination to understand. They are graceful and timeless especially when used in the correct context on certain items. Whether the style is Victorian , Modern or simple this novelty pattern makes me smile.
